Ancient Egypt. Carved limestone statue of Osiris, the God of vegetation and regeneration, with Isis, mother of all gods and nature, and an Egyptian Goddess, standing on a base with hieroglyphics. Traces of red, green, black and yellow. Hieroglyphics and Egyptian symbols including Amun, the Egyptian sky God who came to be regarded as a sun God and the head of the Egyptian pantheon, seated on a throne, on the back. 26th Dynasty. 663-525 BC (6" x 3 1/2" X 2 1/4")

Ancient Egypt. Carved limestone inlay of the God Amun, with visible phallus, hand to his mouth, a baboon seated on his head. Amun was earlier a God of air and wind but later a fertility God, the creator of all things. Hole through the baboon's ear for hanging. 18th Dynasty. 1570-1342 BC (6" x 1 ½")
